About
A local business, built around care.
Estate Motor Care is a Sorrento-based mobile car care business, owned and operated by Alastair Walker.
The person you speak with is the person who looks after your car — whether that's a one-off detail, a monthly plan, or a concierge car we visit while you're away. That keeps the work consistent and the communication direct.
By appointment
We detail vehicles at homes, holiday homes and suitable workplaces across the Mornington Peninsula. Every visit is booked, giving us time to understand the vehicle and prepare properly.
Estate Motor Care is one detailer, by design. Each day is limited to the number of vehicles that can be done properly, and plan customers hold a fixed day each month. If a date is full, we’ll tell you straight away and offer the next one.
Kept simple
Clear services, GST-inclusive prices, professional equipment and honest communication before every booking.
Built for the coast
Living by the coast is part of what makes the Peninsula special. Cars simply need more attention.
Salt-laden air, wind-blown sand, mineral deposits and baked-on contaminants build up quickly, while strong UV works on exterior surfaces over time. Our services focus on regular, thorough care and the areas that are easy to miss.
How we work
What you can expect, start to finish.
Agreed up front
Service, price, time and what we need on site are confirmed before the appointment. Anything that needs extra time is quoted first, not added later.
Methodical, every time
We work in the same careful order on every car and don't rush the parts you can't see — jambs, arches, vents and trims.
A proper hand-back
A walk-around with you if you're home, or a photo update if you're not, with anything we noticed about the car.
Same person, same day
On a plan or concierge, it's the same detailer on a regular day, who knows your car — with a short report after each visit.
What matters to us
Three standards we work by.
Considered work
We give every vehicle our full attention, start to finish.
Clear communication
We confirm the service, price and practical requirements before the appointment.
Local and consistent
Based in Sorrento and working the same roads every week. We know the salt, the sand and the sun — and what they do to a car.
